It is an object of the present invention to provide a rollable toy tank which includes a flexible, tubular body adapted to be rollably disposed on a supporting medium such as the ground or a water surface. The flexible tubular body comprises a closed loop-shaped band which is open on the transverse sides thereof. The toy tank is adapted to be rolled forward on a supporting medium by a combination forward and downward di- rected force exerted on the internal surface of one end of the tubular body by at least one person crawling inside of the tubular body. The outer surface of the tubular body is provided with transverse treads and in one embodiment the transverse treads are only disposed along each of the outer side portions of the outer surface of the tubular body.

The tubular body of the rollable toy tank may be formed from any suitable material as for example, from a single sheet of solid, buoyant, thermal foam plastic that is folded into a closed loop-shaped band, with the ends of the sheet fixed together. The tubular body of the toy tank may also be formed from a plurality of elon- gated, hollow members which are disposed in a side-by- side relationship to form a closed loop-shaped band, and with adjacent members being fixed together, and wherein said elongated, hollow members are formed from a buoyant, thermal foam plastic material. In a modified embodiment, the tubular body may be formed from a corrugated material with an outer and inner coating of flexible plastic material. The corrugated ma- terial may be a suitable corrugated cardboard or corru- gated plastic material.

My invention relates to artificial animals with movable limbs and members operated by natural animals or insects and the objects of my invention are: First, to provide an animal of this class which in appearance resembles a natural animal and in which the limbs or members are movable substantially as those of the natural animal: second, to provide an animal of this class in which the limbs and members are pivotally, revolubly and reciprocably mounted in the body thereof to obtain a variety of motion of said limbs and members; third, to provide an animal of this class in which the interior of the body portion or the parts containing movable members are made hollow so as to provide ample space for the movement and operation of the natural animals or insects placed within said hollow portion; fourth, to provide an animal of this class in which means re provided to keepthe natural animal or insect in the interior thereof in motion and thus provide continuous movement of the said limbs or members; fifth, to provide an animal of this class with a convenient and novel means of entrance and exit of said natural animals or insects; sixth, to provide an animal of this class which is novelly constructed and seventh, to provide an animal of this class which is very simple and economical of construction, duragble, and which will not readily deteriorate or get out of order.

This invention relates generally to toys and novelties for the use and enjoyment of young people, and the primary object of our invention is to provide a toy or novelty hat which will not only be entertaining to youngsters but which will also be educational at least to some extent.

A further object of the invention is to provide a hat or helmet to be worn on the head of the user and associated with which is a planetary element connected by an extensible, spring retracted tether to the hat but adapted to be driven and motivated into an orbital path by a rolling, rotating movement of the head about the upright axis of the wearer's neck. Thus the hat may simulate a space station from which is launched a satellite to travel in orbit about said station, said satellite being, of course, the planetary element before mentioned and which normally will rest in a centered position atop the hat but which is placed into orbit by movement of the head as also stated. Since said planetary element is normally retracted to its centered position atop the hat by action of the spring biased tether or flexible cord connecting the element to the hat the diameter of the orbit into which the element is flung will be determined by the vigor with which the head is moved to maintain said element in its "flying" condition. This not only places a premium upon the vigor or dexterity of the head movements, as is necessary to maintain the interest of young people in such toys, but the action as a whole will serve to teach the user something of the nature and effects of centrifugal forces, by varying the head movement the satellite bay be caused to travel in other than circular orbits about the hat, teaching the user and his companions the differences between the terms apogee and perigee as just two examples of the technical terminology brought into common usage by the recent advances in space exploration and rocket travels.

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE

A toy device providing an adjustable belt to encircle the bodyof a user, a self supporting hoop surrounding and spaced from teh belt and connected to the belt by radial elastic members at spaced intervals.

This invention relates to toys and particularly to a toy to be worn on a portion of the body such as the waist or head and which moves vertically and circumferentially about the body portion to which it is attached. The device provides exercise as well as amusement and is designed to provide a large amount of movement of the device with a small movement of the wearer's body.

• One of the objects of this invention is to provide a novelty and amusement device simulating the opening and closing of the teeth of the mouth in rapid succession and creating the amusing illusion of a person who is jabbering or speaking rapidly.
• Another object of this invention is to provide a pair of members simulating dental plates, which are hinged together and operated by mechanical means to rapidly open and close and to simultaneously rock and creep forward when on a surface, and to provide a teeth clicking sound when thus operated.
